The Mount Union Trojans topped the visiting Penns Valley Area Rams basketball team by a final score of 51-36 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels (Houtzdale, PA) in a Inter County - North game, on Friday, January 7. Mount Union will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Black Knights/Damsels enter the game with a 1-6 record after their 73-40 non-league loss to Harmony Area (Westover, PA).
With the defeat, Penns Valley Area moves to 2-6 on the year. The Rams travel to Hollidaysburg (Hollidaysburg, PA) to face the Golden Tigers in a Mountain game on Monday, January 10. The Golden Tigers enter the game with a record of 4-6.
