The Basis Independent Silicon Valley Bobcats (San Jose, CA) basketball knocked off the host Harker Eagles (San Jose, CA), 60-51 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Bobcats (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Gunn (Palo Alto, CA). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 9-1 record.

The Eagles now own a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Crystal Springs Uplands for a West Bay test on Tuesday, January 10. Harker will encounter a Gryphons squad coming off a 45-42 non-league loss to Cloverdale (Cloverdale, CA). The Gryphons record now stands at 6-5.
