Michigan High School Basketball - Lawrence trounces Battle Creek Academy

January 5, 2023: Lawrence, MI 49064

The Lawrence Tigers (Lawrence, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Battle Creek Academy Tigers (Battle Creek, MI), 62-29 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Paw Paw (Paw Paw, MI). The Red Wolves go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Paw Paw walloped Niles (Niles, MI), 42-40, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Galesburg-Augusta for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. Battle Creek Academy will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 63-46 non-league win over Black River (Holland, MI). The Rams record now stands at 4-1.
