Iowa High School Basketball - North Tama tipped by Belle Plaine

The Belle Plaine Plainsmen basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting North Tama Red Hawks to 51 in the Plainsmen non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Plainsmen now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Mahaska for a South Iowa Cedar contest on Friday, January 6. Belle Plaine will meet a Warhawks team coming off a 86-44 league win over Iowa Valley (Marengo, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 7-2.
The Red Hawks (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Janesville (Janesville, IA). The Wildcats enter the Iowa Star contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Janesville nudged AGWSR (Ackley, IA), 48-36, in a non-league contest.
