Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Bennett County Warriors (Martin, SD), 71-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hot Springs upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Bison host Edgemont (Edgemont, SD) to play the Moguls in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 12. The Moguls go into the bout with a record of 0-8. Edgemont lost 50-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Sioux County (Harrison, NE)

Next up, the Warriors confront the Wall Eagles (Wall, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Bennett County will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 60-46 league loss to Jones County (Murdo, SD).
