Weston Trojans (Weston, CT) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Bethel Wildcats (Bethel, CT), 54-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Weston upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT) to play the Rebels in a Southwest bout on Monday, January 9. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 4-3. New Fairfield won 62-42 in their recent league bout against New Milford (New Milford, CT)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Stratford Red Devils (Stratford, CT) in a Southwest bout, on Monday, January 9. Bethel will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Red Devils come into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 48-36 non-league win over North Haven (North Haven, CT).
