With the victory, Blaine upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Borderites host Meridian (Bellingham, WA) to play the Trojans in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Meridian won 77-55 in their recent league challenge against Mt. Baker (Deming, WA)

Next up, the Cubs play the Archbishop Murphy Wildcats (Everett, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Sedro-Woolley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 65-59 league win over Shorewood (Shoreline, WA).
