Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL) and the visiting Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL), saw Bremen's basketball squad overcome Evergreen Park by a tally of 63-55.

The Braves (5-10) will now prepare for their test against Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL). The Hawks go into the South Suburban test with a 15-2 record. In their last test, Hillcrest was beaten by Belleville East (Belleville, IL), 65-59, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Argo for a South Suburban test on Tuesday, January 10. Evergreen Park will encounter a Argonauts squad coming off a 65-50 non-league loss to Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Argonauts record now stands at 2-13.
