Massachusetts High School Basketball - Brighton/Boston Academy ripped by Charlestown

The Charlestown Townies basketball team scored 105 points and held the visiting Brighton/Boston Academy Bengals to 29 in the Townies league triumph on Thursday.

The Townies now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burke for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Charlestown will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 64-50 league win over Boston English (Boston, MA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-0.

The Bengals (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Madison Park RVT (Roxbury, MA). The Cardinals enter the Freelance contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Madison Park RVT was routed by Cathedral (Boston, MA), 86-37, in a non-league contest.
