Kentucky High School Basketball - Calloway County routs Union County

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Calloway County Lakers (Murray, KY) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY), by a count of 75-54.

The Lakers (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY). The Blue Tornado go into the non-league outing with a 9-4 record. In their last outing, Paducah Tilghman smashed Webster County (Dixon, KY), 61-50, in a non-league outing.

The Braves now hold a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Madisonville-North Hopkins for a non-league outing on Monday, January 9. Union County will clash with a Maroons squad coming off a 69-58 non-league win over Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY). The Maroons record now stands at 12-3.
