The Churchill Lancers basketball team (Eugene, OR), was routed 82-51 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Gresham Gophers (Gresham, OR)
The Gophers now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barlow for a 6A Mt. Hood battle on Tuesday, January 10. Gresham will battle a Bruins team coming off a 77-53 non-league win over Sherwood (Sherwood, OR). The Bruins record now stands at 7-3.
The Lancers (11-1) will now prepare for their battle against Thurston (Springfield, OR). The Colts come into the 5A Midwestern battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Thurston was routed by Ashland (Ashland, OR), 54-51, in a league battle.
