Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Dexter Demons (Dexter, NM), 78-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Clovis upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Matadors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Matadors go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Sandia won 77-57 in their recent non-league bout against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM)

Next up, the Demons play the Hagerman Bobcats (Hagerman, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Dexter will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 75-45 non-league loss to Eunice (Eunice, NM).
