Kent Island Buccaneers (Stevensville, MD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Colonel Richardson Colonels (Federalsburg, MD), 56-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Kent Island upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Pocomoke (Pocomoke, MD) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 9. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Colonels play the Cambridge-South Dorchester Vikings (Cambridge, MD) in a Bayside - North bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Colonel Richardson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
