The Fosston Greyhounds basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Crookston Pirates to 42 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Greyhounds now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Fosston will battle a Titans team coming off a 88-68 league loss to Lake Park-Audubon (Lake Park, MN). The Titans record now stands at 2-5.
The Pirates (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Menahga (Menahga, MN). The Braves enter the AA Section 8 contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Menahga triumphed over Verndale (Verndale, MN), 46-45, in a non-league contest.
