The Mountainside Mavericks (Beaverton, OR) basketball knocked off the visiting Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR), 70-54 in Thursday's non-league contest.
The Mavericks now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aloha for a 6A Metro contest on Friday, January 27.
The Cavemen (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain View (Bend, OR). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Mountain View ran past Sherwood (Sherwood, OR), 46-44, in a non-league contest.
