With the victory, Liberty improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Nicholas County (Summersville, WV) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Nicholas County lost 62-55 in their recent league challenge against Hoover (Clendenin, WV)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the James Monroe Mavericks (Lindside, WV) in a Coalfield A challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Greenbrier West will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 71-59 non-league win over Webster County (Upper Glade, WV).
