The Lenox Tigers (Lenox, IA) basketball smashed the visiting Griswold Tigers (Griswold, IA), 68-16 in Thursday's non-league contest.
The Tigers now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nodaway Valley for a Pride of Iowa contest on Friday, January 6. Lenox will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 71-60 league win over Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-6.
The Tigers (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Essex (Essex, IA). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Essex was routed by East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] (Tarkio, MO), 75-35, in a non-league contest.
