The Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD) basketball knocked off the host Hanson Beavers (Alexandria, SD), 43-33 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cougars (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD). The Cubs go into the B Region 4 test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Alcester-Hudson notched a victory over Avon (Avon, SD), 49-45, in a non-league test.
The Beavers now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Canistota for a non-league test on Monday, January 9. Hanson will meet a Hawks team coming off a 63-43 non-league win over Freeman (Freeman, SD). The Hawks record now stands at 3-1.
