High School Basketball - Varsity Opponent trounces Hayden

The Varsity Opponent (, ) basketball crushed the visiting Hayden Tigers (Hayden, CO), 59-33 in Thursday's non-league test.
The (195-641) will now prepare for their test against Tri-Cities Christian (Blountville, TN). The Eagles go into the test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, Tri-Cities Christian was trounced by Volunteer (Church Hill, TN), 63-60, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host West Grand for a 2A/1A Western Slope test on Saturday, January 7. Hayden will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 72-31 non-league loss to Clear Creek (Evergreen, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-7.
