Nevada High School Basketball - Independence overwhelmed by Owyhee

The Owyhee Braves basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Independence Colts to 34 in the Braves non-league victory on Thursday.
The Braves now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carlin for a 1A Eastern contest on Tuesday, January 10. Owyhee will battle a Railroaders team coming off a 60-38 non-league loss to Independence (Elko, NV). The Railroaders record now stands at 4-5.
The Colts (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wells (Wells, NV). The Leopards come into the non-league contest with a 1-10 record.
