In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Jefferson Panthers basketball team scored a decisive 57-19 triumph over the Twin Bridges Falcons.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the Sweet Grass County Sheepherders (Big Timber, MT) in a B District 5 match, on Saturday, January 7. Jefferson will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Sheepherders enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 41-30 non-league win over Joliet (Joliet, MT).

With the defeat, Twin Bridges moves to 0-5 on the year. The Falcons travel to Gardiner (Gardiner, MT) to meet the Bruins in a C District 12 match on Saturday, January 14. The Bruins enter the match with a record of 2-1. Gardiner lost 71-44 in their recent non-league match against Whitehall/Harrison/Willow Creek (Whitehall, MT)
