The John Bartram Braves basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Simon Gratz Bulldogs to 40 in the Braves league victory on Thursday.
The Braves now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chester for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. John Bartram will battle a Clippers team coming off a 64-54 league loss to Penn Wood (Lansdowne, PA). The Clippers record now stands at 4-6.
The Bulldogs (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sankofa Freedom Academy (Philadelphia, PA). The Warriors come into the Philadelphia Public - A contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Sankofa Freedom Academy prevailed over Overbrook (Philadelphia, PA), 90-83, in a league contest.
