Paloma Valley Wildcats (Menifee, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jurupa Valley Jaguars (Jurupa Valley, CA), 73-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Paloma Valley upgrades its record to 5-9 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Lakeside (Lake Elsinore, CA) to play the Lancers in a Inland Valley bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 14-8. Lakeside won 73-38 in their recent league bout against Vista del Lago (Moreno Valley, CA)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Indian Springs COYOTES (San Bernardino, CA) in a Mountain Valley bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Jurupa Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The COYOTES go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 58-54 non-league win over Jurupa Valley (Jurupa Valley, CA).
