The Lincoln Patriots basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Riggs Governors to 62 in the Patriots league triumph on Thursday.
The Patriots now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aberdeen Central for a AA contest on Saturday, January 7. Lincoln will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 79-39 league loss to Washington (Sioux Falls, SD). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
The Governors (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Washington (Sioux Falls, SD). The Warriors enter the AA contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Washington ran past Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD), 79-39, in a league contest.
