In Thursday's non-league match, the host Regina Regals basketball team scored a good 65-56 triumph over the Lisbon Lions.
In their next game, the Regals meet the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (Wellman, IA) in a River Valley match, on Tuesday, January 10. Regina will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record.
With the defeat, Lisbon moves to 5-5 on the year. The Lions host Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Friday, January 6. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 6-3. Maquoketa Valley lost 51-46 in their recent league match against Central City (Central City, IA)
