Wingate Bears (Fort Wingate, NM) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Many Farms Lobos (Many Farms, AZ), 76-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wingate upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Bears travel to Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Hot Springs won 45-42 in their recent non-league bout against Tularosa (Tularosa, NM)

Next up, the Lobos clash with the St. Johns Redskins (St. Johns, AZ) in a 2A North bout, on Saturday, January 7. Many Farms will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Redskins go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 81-66 non-league loss to St. David (St. David, AZ).
