New Jersey High School Basketball - Middletown North can't hold off Marlboro

The Marlboro Mustangs basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Middletown North Lions to 54 in the Mustangs league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Bank Regional for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7.

The Lions (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ). The Braves come into the Shore A - North contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Manalapan edged Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ), 73-42, in a non-league contest.
