The New Milford Green Wave basketball team (New Milford, CT), was overwhelmed 70-38 in Thursday's league battle with the host Notre Dame Catholic Lancers (Fairfield, CT)

The Lancers now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Immaculate for a Southwest contest on Monday, January 9. Notre Dame Catholic will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 61-60 league win over Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-3.

The Green Wave (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT). The Rebels enter the Southwest contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, New Fairfield was routed by Newtown (Newtown, CT), 60-41, in a league contest.
