The North River Mustangs basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Non Varsity Opponent to 42 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakville for a 1B Coastal contest on Friday, January 6. North River will play a Acorns squad coming off a 77-30 league win over Lake Quinault (Amanda Park, WA). The Acorns record now stands at 8-3.

Next up, the play the Kaycee Buckaroos (Kaycee, WY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Non Varsity Opponent will attempt to upgrade on its 55-143 season record. The Buckaroos come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 66-55 non-league loss to Southeast (Yoder, WY).
