Patrick School Celtics (Hillside, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Piscataway Chiefs (Piscataway, NJ), 85-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Patrick School upgrades its record to 3-8 on the season. The Celtics travel to Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY) to play the Gaels in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 8. The Gaels go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Iona Prep lost 63-49 in their recent league bout against Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY)

Next up, the Chiefs play the St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans (Edison, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Piscataway will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 10-0 record after their 66-60 non-league win over Rosedale Christian Academy (Baltimore, MD).
