Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO) and the visiting Sand Creek Scorpions (Colorado Springs, CO), saw Ponderosa's basketball squad wallop Sand Creek by a tally of 76-53.
With the victory, Ponderosa improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Northfield (Denver, CO) to play the Nighthawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Northfield won 63-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Aurora Central (Aurora, CO)
Next up, the Scorpions play the Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs (Pueblo, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Sand Creek will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 65-49 non-league loss to Sierra (Colorado Springs, CO).
