The Pope John Paul II Eagles basketball team (Lacey, WA), dropped 79-59 in Thursday's league battle with the host Puget Sound Adventist Sharks (Kirkland, WA)
The Sharks now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Auburn Adventist for a 1B/2B Sea-Tac battle on Saturday, January 7. Puget Sound Adventist will confront a Falcons team coming off a 53-51 league win over Sound Christian (Tacoma, WA). The Falcons record now stands at 7-0.
The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Northwest Yeshiva (Mercer Island, WA). The Lions come into the 1B/2B Sea-Tac battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Northwest Yeshiva dropped by Northwest Christian (Lacey, WA), 45-38, in a non-league battle.
