The St. John-Vianney Lancers basketball team (Holmdel, NJ), was toppled 69-57 in Thursday's league battle with the host Red Bank Catholic Caseys (Red Bank, NJ)
The Caseys now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Bank Regional for a Shore A - Central battle on Saturday, January 7.
The Lancers (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against St. Rose (Belmar, NJ). The Purple Roses come into the Shore A - Central battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, St. Rose beat Neptune (Neptune, NJ), 49-31, in a non-league battle.
