The Stowe Raiders basketball team (Stowe, VT), was overwhelmed 62-30 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Vergennes Commodores (Vergennes, VT)

The Commodores now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Missisquoi Valley for a Lake battle on Thursday, January 12. Vergennes will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 59-30 league loss to North Country Union (Newport, VT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 3-7.

The Raiders (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Oxbow (Bradford, VT). The Olympians come into the Capital battle with a 1-9 record.
