Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Westhill Vikings (Stamford, CT), 64-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Trumbull upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Danbury (Danbury, CT) to clash with the Hatters in a Fairfield County bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Hatters go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Danbury won 60-57 in their recent league bout against New Canaan (New Canaan, CT)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Westhill will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Blue Wave go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 53-48 league win over Norwalk (Norwalk, CT).
