Wyomissing Spartans (Wyomissing, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Tulpehocken Trojans (Bernville, PA), 56-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wyomissing upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Twin Valley (Elverson, PA) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 1-6. Twin Valley lost 68-41 in their recent non-league bout against Exeter Township (Reading, PA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Pequea Valley Braves (Kinzers, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Tulpehocken will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Braves come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 48-31 non-league loss to Lancaster Mennonite (Lancaster, PA).
