Appoquinimink Jaguars (West Middletown, DE) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Delcastle Technical Cougars (Wilmington, DE), 63-33 in a league bout.
With the victory, Appoquinimink upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Howard (Wilmington, DE) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 4-1. Howard won 45-32 in their recent league bout against Newark (Newark, DE)
Next up, the Cougars play the Mount Pleasant Green Knights (Wilmington, DE) in a Blue Hen Flight - A bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Delcastle Technical will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Green Knights come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 56-31 league loss to St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE).
