Auburn Trojans (Auburn, WA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Federal Way Eagles (Federal Way, WA), 39-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Auburn upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Trojans travel to Mt. Rainier (Des Moines, WA) to clash with the Rams in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Mt. Rainier won 57-18 in their recent league bout against Kent-Meridian (Kent, WA)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Auburn Mountainview Lions (Auburn, WA) in a 3A/4A North Puget Sound - Olympic bout, on Saturday, January 7. Federal Way will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 62-41 league loss to Decatur (Federal Way, WA).
