The Pinelands Regional Wildcats basketball team (Tuckerton, NJ), was overwhelmed 57-25 in Thursday's league battle with the host Barnegat Bengals (Barnegat, NJ)

The Bengals now possess a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Freehold Boro for a non-league battle on Friday, January 6. Barnegat will battle a Colonials team coming off a 72-24 non-league loss to St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ). The Colonials record now stands at 1-4.

The Wildcats (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against Keyport (Keyport, NJ). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Keyport was overwhelmed by Point Pleasant Beach (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ), 41-20, in a league battle.
