The Bellingham Bayhawks basketball team (Bellingham, WA), was overwhelmed 60-14 in Thursday's league battle with the host Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA)
The Lions now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Baker for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle on Tuesday, January 10. Lynden will confront a Mountaineers team coming off a 70-32 league loss to Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 0-5.
The Bayhawks (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against South Whidbey (Langley, WA). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, South Whidbey was overwhelmed by King's (Seattle, WA), 63-24, in a league battle.
