Mississippi High School Basketball - Ridgeland knocked off by Brandon

The Brandon Bulldogs basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Ridgeland Titans to 40 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gulfport for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Brandon will battle a Admirals team coming off a 55-43 non-league win over Holmes County Central (Lexington, MS). The Admirals record now stands at 5-4.

The Titans (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS). The Rockets enter the 5A Region 3 contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Neshoba Central ran past Holmes County Central (Lexington, MS), 67-37, in a league contest.
