Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Falmouth Clippers (Falmouth, MA) and the host Cape Cod Academy Seahawks (Osterville, MA), saw Falmouth's basketball squad knock off Cape Cod Academy by a count of 47-30.

With the victory, Falmouth upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Clippers travel to Nantucket (Nantucket, MA) to play the Whalers in a Cape & Islands challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Whalers come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Seahawks play the Falmouth Academy Mariners (Falmouth, MA) in a Cape & Islands challenge, on Monday, January 9. Cape Cod Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
