The Central A & M Raiders basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Maroa-Forsyth Trojans to 46 in the Raiders non-league victory on Thursday.
The Raiders now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cerro Gordo/Bement for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Central A & M will battle a Broncos team coming off a 56-35 non-league win over St. Teresa (Decatur, IL). The Broncos record now stands at 14-3.
The Trojans (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL). The Bluejays come into the Sangamo contest with a 17-0 record. In their last contest, PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central prevailed over Havana (Havana, IL), 61-56, in a non-league contest.
