The Wright Red Devils basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Chassell Panthers to 38 in the Red Devils non-league victory on Thursday.

The Red Devils now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host L'Anse for a Copper Mountain contest on Tuesday, January 10. Wright will battle a Purple Hornets team coming off a 60-50 league win over Watersmeet (Watersmeet, MI). The Purple Hornets record now stands at 3-4.

The Panthers (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Wakefield (Wakefield, MI). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Wakefield was defeated by Lake Linden-Hubbell (Lake Linden, MI), 51-20, in a non-league contest.
