California High School Basketball - Christian tipped by Montgomery

The Montgomery Aztecs basketball team scored 37 points and held the host Christian Patriots to 36 in the Aztecs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Aztecs now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Murrieta Mesa for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Montgomery will meet a Rams team coming off a 49-9 league loss to Great Oak (Temecula, CA). The Rams record now stands at 8-9.

The Patriots (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA). The Falcons enter the Western contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Scripps Ranch nudged Grossmont (El Cajon, CA), 67-32, in a non-league contest.
