The Forest Grove Vikings (Forest Grove, OR) basketball crushed the visiting David Douglas Scots (Portland, OR), 55-16 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Vikings (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Sherwood (Sherwood, OR). The Bowmen go into the 6A Pacific test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Sherwood was trounced by Sheldon (Eugene, OR), 57-33, in a non-league test.
The Scots now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Sandy for a 6A Mt. Hood test on Tuesday, January 10. David Douglas will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 39-38 non-league win over Glencoe (Hillsboro, OR). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-6.
