The East Thunderbirds basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Rock Springs Tigers to 30 in the Thunderbirds league triumph on Thursday.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Natrona County for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. East will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 63-48 non-league loss to Douglas (Douglas, WY). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-3.
The Tigers (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Natrona County (Casper, WY). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Natrona County was routed by Douglas (Douglas, WY), 63-48, in a non-league contest.
