The St. Mary Cardinals basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Estelline/Hendricks to 32 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cardinals now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chester for a B Region 3 contest on Friday, January 6. St. Mary will battle a Flyers team coming off a 68-31 non-league win over Mitchell Christian (Mitchell, SD). The Flyers record now stands at 2-2.

The (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD). The Warbirds enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Wolsey-Wessington ran past James Valley Christian (Huron, SD), 56-43, in a league contest.
