The Herreid/Selby Wolverines basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the host Faulkton Trojans to 34 in the Wolverines league victory on Thursday.

The Wolverines now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Langford for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Herreid/Selby will battle a Lions team coming off a 29-5 non-league win over Estelline/Hendricks (Estelline, SD). The Lions record now stands at 1-3.

The Trojans (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Central (Eureka, SD). The Thunder come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, North Central was nudged by Warner (Warner, SD), 41-24, in a non-league contest.
