Garden County Eagles (Oshkosh, NE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hemingford Bobcats (Hemingford, NE), 29-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Garden County upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Minatare (Minatare, NE) to play the Indians in a D2 District 11 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Bobcats play the Creek Valley Storm (Chappell, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Hemingford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 61-16 non-league loss to Caliche (Iliff, CO).
